Conservation & Animal Welfare

This collection marks a pivotal shift in my creative purpose.  Moving beyond observation, these paintings use heightened realism to advocate for habitat conservation and individual animal welfare. By evoking empathy, they give voice to vulnerable species and the interconnected worlds they inhabit - transforming my practice from a celebration of nature into an urgent call for protection, compassion, and respect.
Key Accomplishments & Highlights
  • Artists for Conservation (AFC) - Proud to support global habitat protection as the first New Zealand member of Artists for Conservation.
  • The Search for Silva - These advocacy paintings served as the direct creative inspiration for the published book, The Search for Silva.
